Install Squid Proxy Server on CentOS / Redhat enterprise Linux 5

Step 1 install squid

# yum install squid

Step 2 Configurasi squid.conf

# vi /etc/squid/squid.conf *ket : vi bisa disesuaikan sama text editor lo, misalkan mw pake gedit,nano,leafepad dll. tinggal di ganti depan nya ja.

 

Step 3

tambah kan ini kalo mau ngebypass ip lokal

acl our_networks src 192.168.1.0/24 192.168.2.0/24

http_access allow our_networks

 

Step 4 , Aktifin squid

# chkconfig squid on

# /etc/init.d/squid start

init_cache_dir /var/spool/squid… Starting squid: .       [  OK  ]

Step 5. Membuka port 3128 pada firewall

# vi /etc/sysconfig/iptables

 

//Masukin pengaturan dibawah

-A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT -m state –state NEW,ESTABLISHED,RELATED -m tcp -p tcp –dport 3128 -j ACCEPT

 

Step 6. Restart Firewall

# /etc/init.d/iptables restart
